Vibration Training

The Power Plate machines generate vibrations that send acceleration forces throughout your body. These forces cause your muscles to lengthen and contract involuntarily in order to maintain joint stability. Because this is an involuntary contraction, many more muscle fibres are ‘forced’ to contract than in traditional, voluntary movement.

How it works
Vibration training is performed by standing on the Power Plate for approximately 20 minutes alternately holding a variety of positions. For best results we recommended you use the Power Plate 1 to 3 times per week. Vibration training is not an alternative to your cardio and strength training but provides you with another form of physical activity.
